EU-Canada Transatlantic Exchange Partnership (TEP) Programme
January 28th, 2008
Funding Source: European Commission (EACEA)
Summary: A new call for proposals has been launched by the European Commission together with Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) to fund joint study and/or training Programmes allowing transatlantic exchanges between European and Canadian education institutions.
The transatlantic mobility activities will benefit higher education students, vocational education and training learners and teachers/trainers/administrative staff in the framework of joint study programmes, underpinned by appropriate arrangements for mutual credit recognition, language and cultural preparation, and the necessary services and facilities. The TEP projects must, therefore, be student-centred rather than oriented towards research collaboration between partners.
The main focus of activities must be on transatlantic rather than intra-European or intra-Canadian interactions.
This 2008 Call for Proposals is open to higher education institutions and to vocational education and training institutions.
It is anticipated that approximately 9 projects will be funded in 2008 and projects activities are planned to start in October 2008 and last for 36 months.
Sum: EUR 1.242 million
Deadline: 11 April 2008
